I still need to learn more about

, but I think it provides a model for what a socialist-aligned NGO could look like. I think DSA should function more as a typical party would in any other countries, but that doesn't mean NGO models can't be useful in some cases.

I also think these NGO's could play roles that an org like DSA isn't legally permitted to, such as getting discretionary funds from elected officials and carrying out base building.
